Karbon Lite Limited is committed to working within an ethical and sustainable framework. However, we recognise that any business has an impact on the environment. With this in mind, a key element of our operational strategy is reducing any negative impacts as much as possible. We are committed to supporting the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and improve conditions in our supply chains.

Specifically, Karbon Lite aims to:

Minimise waste wherever possibly by making sensible environmentally aware decisions and being as efficient as possible
Minimise any toxic emissions through selecting the least harmful products and components on the market, and to go further in helping develop safer products and components
Keep energy usage to a minimum, both in terms of using public transport wherever possible and in minimising the use of power and water on our premises
Keep product packaging to a minimum and to recycle and reuse packaging materials
Actively promote recycling both within our own business and among customers and suppliers
Choose customers, suppliers and manufacturers whose environmental policies mirror our own high standards
Source, develop and promote a product range that minimises the environmental impact of both production and distribution
Not just meet but exceed all the environmental legislation relating to the lighting sector
Continually strive to improve our environmental performance
Communicate Karbon Lite's environmental objectives to all staff
