About Karbon Lite

Karbon Lite is a young company passionate about the environment. Having monitored the solid-state lighting (SSL) sector for some years, Karbon Lite was conceived in the summer of 2008 and is just beginning to take off. We are now seeing SSL technology, promised for so long, being realised. The Karbon Lite team have many years experience in this relatively new sector. Our aim is to help businesses reduce both their operating costs and their carbon footprint through installing good quality low energy solid-state lighting.

We are realistic about what can be achieved within a commercial framework. In other words we understood from the beginning that although Karbon Lite has an environmental ‘angle’, in order to be sustainable our business model had to be economically viable first and foremost.

The ethos of Karbon Lite is to contribute to wealth creation in an environmentally sustainable way. Our logo – ‘cheaper greener brighter’ – encapsulates this way of thinking.
